According to their own website, fishing is permitted in Oakville, but only in the following areas: - On Sixteen Mile Creek (provided it is not off a bridge or roadway) a minimum of 50 meters upstream of the last upstream dock in the Oakville Harbour - On Bronte Creek north of the Rebecca Street bridge, at Petro Canada Park and other creek access points. - And on both sides of the west pier at Bronte Harbour Oakville offers and advertises a variety of angling opportunities. However, please be sure to look out for any ‘No Fishing’ signs, posted in areas where fishing isn't allowed.
